About the Role
Deep Monkey Studios is looking for a Senior Concept Artist to create compelling and visually striking concepts for characters, environments, and various game assets design. You'll work closely with our Art Director and Lead Artist to help shape the artistic direction across multiple projects.
This role suits an experienced artist who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys solving design challenges, and has a strong eye for storytelling, form, and composition.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop characters, environments, weapons, and vehicles that align with the project's vision.
- Collaborate with the Art Director and Art Leads to maintain visual consistency and quality.
- Use research and references effectively to support design ideas and problem-solving.
- Communicate clearly within the team and deliver tasks on schedule.
- Stay proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to production needs.
Requirements:
- 4 - 5+ years of professional experience as a Concept Artist in the games industry.
- Impressive portfolio demonstrating excellent design sensibility, style range, and artistic quality.
- Proficiency in Photoshop or equivalent digital painting tools.
- Strong foundation in drawing, composition, and design (both traditional and digital).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to take and apply feedback.
- Deep understanding of game production workflows.
- Familiarity with Blender, Zbrush, Maya, or other 3D tools is a plus.
- Understanding of game engines (Unreal, Unity, etc.) is a plus.

- 2 - 4 years of professional experience as a Concept Artist in games, film, or animation.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating solid design fundamentals, creativity, and understanding of form, shape, and color.
- Proficiency in Photoshop or equivalent digital painting tools.
- Excellent drawing and composition skills.
- Strong use of research and references in your creative process.
- Good communication skills and ability to take direction effectively.
- Familiarity with and passion for games.
- Familiar with game production pipeline.
- Knowledge with Blender, Zbrush, Maya, or other 3D tools is a plus.

About the Role
Deep Monkey Studios is looking for a Project Coordinator to help manage and streamline our art production across multiple game projects. You'll work closely with the Art Director and Project Leads to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and are completed on schedule.
This role bridges the gap between the creative and production sides of the studio — coordinating tasks, tracking milestones, and keeping communication clear between artists and clients. You'll help maintain structure and flow in a fast-paced creative environment while supporting the team to do their best work.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily project operations and maintain clear communication between internal teams and external partners.
- Plan and track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Ensure tasks are organized, assigned, and progressing smoothly.
- Identify potential risks or bottlenecks and help resolve them proactively.
- Maintain documentation, asset tracking, and production reports.
- Support the Art Director and team lead in prioritizing tasks and managing workloads.
- Communicate effectively using art and game production terminology to ensure clarity across all stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Excellent proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Ability to communicate effectively with artists and understand art or game production workflows is a great addition.
- 1-2 years of experience in project coordination, production management, or similar roles (preferably in games, animation, or creative industries).
- Familiarity with game or art production pipelines is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Notion, ClickUp, ShotGrid, Trello, or similar).
- Highly organized, proactive, and detail oriented.
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in Chinese (reading and speaking) is a plus.
